Is anyone ever ready for Christmas? I'm 70 - haven't been totally ready yet. And, for those of us who make our presents, we need to start in January. Great advice! I tried it one year. I made slippers, pajamas, wall hangings, cookies and so on. That was the year I came closest to being ready. My New Years resolution is to do it again.....maybe I'll get it right this time.

Welcome

They say that older people are afraid of computers. I am! However, I am grateful to have two daughters who are savvy and are willing to talk me through everything.
I love quilting, learn something new every week and will post small things from time to time to help new quilters.
I also decided to actively work in politics this year. I'm supporting Hillary Clinton and hope to be part of history in getting her elected. My great grandmother and my grandmother were both suffragettes, my Mom was a "Rosie the Riveter" and all three were apt to say that if women were running the country, there would be no more wars. I believe it.
I'm also an autism grandma, and a new great grandma, so I have lots going on and hope I can share.
